Situation et moyens d'accès

Cahuita Beach is situated within Cahuita National Park, along the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, approximately 45 kilometers south of Puerto Limón. The beach is easily accessible by road, with the nearest town being Cahuita, a small but vibrant coastal village.

• By Car: From Puerto Limón, take Route 36 south toward Cahuita. The drive takes about 1 hour. Parking is available near the park entrance.
• By Bus: Regular buses run from Puerto Limón to Cahuita, with a stop near the park entrance. The journey takes roughly 1.5 hours.
• By Taxi: Taxis from Puerto Limón or nearby towns can be arranged for a more direct route.

Heures d'ouverture et billets

Cahuita National Park, which includes the beach, is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no entrance fee, but donations are encouraged to support park maintenance. Tickets or reservations are not required.

The dry season (February to April) offers the most reliable weather, with fewer rain showers and calmer seas. Early mornings are ideal for avoiding crowds and spotting wildlife. The beach is less frequented during weekdays.
