  • By Car: Drive to Achada do Teixeira parking area (ER218 road), the starting point for the hike to Pico Ruivo. From Santana, it is approximately a 30-minute drive.
  • By Foot: The tree is encountered along the PR1.2 hiking trail (Vereda do Pico Ruivo), a moderately challenging 2.8km route (one way) from Achada do Teixeira.
