Situation et moyens d'accès

Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) is the most iconic waterfall within Iguazú National Park, located in northeastern Argentina near the border with Brazil. The main access point is through the park's central entrance in Puerto Iguazú. From there, visitors take the park's free ecological train to the last station (Estación Garganta del Diablo) and walk along a series of elevated walkways (approximately 1.1 km) to reach the viewpoint.

Heures d'ouverture et billets

  • The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM). Hours may extend during peak seasons.
  • Entrance fees: Approximately $8,000 ARS (as of 2024) for foreign adults, with discounts for Argentinian residents and children. Tickets can be purchased at the park entrance or online in advance.

Meilleur moment pour visiter

Early morning (8:00–10:00 AM) is ideal to avoid crowds and witness the falls in softer light. The wet season (November–March) offers the most powerful water flow, while the dry season (April–October) provides clearer views with less mist.

  • Allow 1–2 hours for the visit, including the train ride and walk.

Installations

  • Restrooms and a small café are available near the train station.
  • Gift shops are located at the park entrance.
  • Accessibility: The walkways are wheelchair-friendly, but the train requires assistance for boarding.

Ce qu'il faut apporter
