Qenko is an archaeological site located approximately 6 kilometers northeast of Cusco, Peru, in the Sacred Valley region. It sits at an elevation of about 3,580 meters (11,745 feet) above sea level, near the Saqsaywaman complex.

  • From Cusco: The most common way to reach Qenko is by taxi, which takes around 15-20 minutes from the city center. Many visitors combine it with a tour of nearby sites like Saqsaywaman, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.
  • Public Transport: Local buses or colectivos (shared minivans) heading toward Pisac or Tambomachay can drop you near the site, though a short walk may be required.
