DAY 1

The tour to the palafitos villages starts at 7:30 a.m., leaving from Puebloviejo we you will meet your local guide. The guidance is interpretative, taking into account everything we observe in the Ciénaga Grande. You will approach the approaches the fishermen, discover their fishing techniques, talks to them, and feel the nets. You will then discover the environmental importance of the birds, types of fish and fauna in general. Arrival at Nueva Venecia at 9:30 approximately to make a tour with another local guide, by boat through the streets of water, then walk through the church, square, school and is contextualized all the way of life of our community. From how the water arrives to how the town originated. Then head to Buenavista at 11 a.m. and have contact with the community through a folkloric show. We will have lunch at 11:30 a.m. and return to the dock.
