Triumph Over Dead Woman’s Pass
This day challenges even the most seasoned trekkers. After an early breakfast, commence the steep ascent to the highest point of the trail, the Abra Warmihuañusca, also known as “Dead Woman’s Pass,” standing tall at 4,200 meters. Feel a sense of accomplishment as you conquer this peak, followed by a descent to the Pacaymayo Valley, where you’ll rest for the night after approximately 12 km of trekking.

Journey Through Ancient Ruins
A day steeped in history! Traverse through two mountain passes and explore Incan ruins. Begin with the Runkurakay pass, descend to the ruins of Sayacmarca, and journey through the lush cloud forest to reach the Phuyupatamarca, the “Town Above the Clouds”. Today’s trek, covering around 16 km, culminates at the Wiñay Wayna, another significant Inca site.
