DAY 1

Santa Marta – Taiku – Tayrona Park

– Departure 7:00 am from Santa Marta to the village of Calabazo where we will start a tour in a 4×4 vehicle for approximately 20 minutes to the indigenous village of Kogui Tayku.
– Here a local guide will be waiting for us, who will give us a tour of the village to make an immersion in their culture, housing, clothing, ceremonial houses, traditions.
– We will have a meeting with the mamo who is the highest authority of this community, he will explain us more about their way of thinking and caring for mother nature, how they cultivate the land and so on.
– After finishing this cultural immersion we continue to Cabo San Juan for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, here we will have lunch and enjoy an afternoon at the beach.
– Approximately at 3:00 p.m. we will start a 2 hour walk to the exit to Tayrona Park where the vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Santa Marta.
