Tristan a créé une expérience culturelle merveilleuse pour nous lors d'une visite de 10 jours à Cuba. D'un point de vue photographique, il avait recherché des personnes et des lieux pour garantir le meilleur modèle, dans l'environnement le plus cubain qui soit et sous le meilleur éclairage. Bien que nous étions concentrés sur la photographie, il a complété la visite par des opportunités d'expérimenter l'histoire (visite d'une ancienne plantation de sucre), la terre (visite d'une ferme avec des bœufs et une randonnée vers une cascade) et la nourriture (dégustation de plats et boissons locaux dans de beaux cadres). Je recommande vivement Tristan comme guide. Nous planifions déjà notre prochain voyage avec lui.
Découvrir la magie de la Colombie avec Tristan
J'ai revu lentement toutes mes photos du circuit Viva Colombia. Cela me fait revivre toutes les expériences incroyables que Tristan a organisées pour nous ! Son amour et son enthousiasme pour la Colombie et son peuple étaient évidents. Il avait une bonne relation avec tous ses chauffeurs et guides, et il rayonne lorsqu'il est avec des enfants avec ses tours de magie. Ses compétences relationnelles étaient excellentes.
Tristan était réactif et s'est démené pour que tout le monde soit heureux. Il a pris les commentaires à cœur. Je voulais souligner à quel point il était diligent. Je n'ai jamais participé à un circuit où le guide avait préparé une présentation aussi approfondie avec des diapositives et des exemples de certains des concepts créatifs qu'il essayait d'enseigner.
Je suis tellement heureuse d'avoir réussi à tout organiser à la dernière minute pour participer à ce circuit. Ça en valait TELLEMENT la peine ! Il y a quelques circuits Luminous Journey qui m'intéressent, donc je ne vous ai pas encore quittés.
The Magical Mystery Tour!
In March 2026, I ventured out of my comfort zone and booked an 11 day photography tour with Tristan, through Remote Expeditions.
It was amazing. Truly remote, we visited several indigenous communities in the Sierra Nevada, first to meet them and find out a little about their way of life and second lay to photograph them. Additionally there were several opportunities for photographing birds, landscape and City Scenes in Cartagena.
We were fortunate enough to to be a small group, of two , which I was more that happy to pay a premium for. This gave us an intimate experience with the people we met along the way, additionally the 1:1 attention to our personal interests in photography was incredible.
Tristan was a real treat! He has spent the last 10 years living in and exploring this region of Colombia. He has cultivated relationships with the indigenous peoples of the area, and loves to share his understanding of their culture with you.
He structured the tour perfectly. He was organized, knowledgeable (about the land, its people and photography), compassionate, passionate and eager to share his vast internal encyclopedic information with you. When he didn’t know, he would quickly get you the information.
The remote places you get to, by 4x4, hiking and boating are exceptional. You could never find these places on your own.
Knowing little about Colombia, I was initially a little hesitant to take this tour. Having just returned, I wouldn’t hesitate for a nanosecond.
What ever type of tour you take with Tristan, you won’t be disappointed. He delivered everything he he promised, and a few amazing surprises more.
