Remote Expeditions grows through conversations, recommendations and trusted communities. I am inviting a small number of past travellers, writers, photographers and specialist groups to introduce people who would genuinely value the way I travel and guide.
This is not a mass affiliate network. It is a personal partnership with clear terms, honest recommendations and direct contact with me.

For past travellers

If you have travelled with me and know someone who would be a natural fit, introduce us personally.
- US$300 cash for each eligible completed booking
- or US$600 in future-travel credit
- Up to three rewards per calendar year
One reward applies to one booking reference, whether the booking is for one traveller or a travelling party.
For creators and communities
Work with an audience you know
For travel writers, photographers, clubs, educators and specialist communities whose audience overlaps naturally with Remote Expeditions.

- Up to US$1,000 per completed booking
- 180-day attribution from the first recorded introduction
The eligible journeys, commissionable amount and attribution method are agreed in writing before promotion begins.

Use your personal reference code, referral link or a direct email introduction. Share only what you genuinely believe.

They travel, you are rewarded
Once the referred traveller has completed the journey and the booking remains fully paid, I confirm and pay the reward.
What qualifies
- The traveller is new to Remote Expeditions and is not already in an active enquiry or booking conversation.
- The introduction is recorded before booking, through a direct introduction, personal code or tracked link.
- The booking is made directly with Remote Expeditions for an eligible small-group or private journey.
- The first documented eligible introduction receives attribution for 180 days.
- Self-referrals, cancelled travel and refunded amounts do not qualify.
How the professional commission is calculated
The 8% commission applies to the eligible trip price actually paid to Remote Expeditions, up to US$1,000 per booking.
International flights, stand-alone third-party services, discounts, refunds, payment fees and travel credit are excluded unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Payment is made in USD by bank transfer or PayPal within 30 days after the referred traveller completes the journey. Any transfer or receiving fees are agreed before the partnership begins.
Questions you may have
No. Past travellers, photography clubs, birding communities, educators and other trusted connectors can be a good fit. I review each relationship personally.
During the pilot, I record direct introductions and personal reference codes manually. Professional partners may also receive a tracked link. If a browser cookie fails but the introduction is documented, I can still attribute it fairly.
That booking is not eligible for a new referral reward. If attribution is unclear, I will share what I can verify and resolve it with you before the traveller confirms.
A reward is earned only after the journey has been completed. Cancelled bookings do not qualify, and any refunded amount is excluded from the professional commission calculation.
Not by default. I prefer to begin with a simple, non-exclusive collaboration. A specific reader benefit or a deeper partnership can be discussed later when there is evidence that it serves both the audience and the journey.
Please make it clear whenever you may earn a commission from a recommendation. Compensated links should be marked as sponsored where applicable. Partners remain responsible for their own tax obligations, and I may request an invoice or other payment documentation.
