Atén

The small town of Atén sits in the Apolo valley at the heart of Bolivia's isolated Andean cerrado. We base here for three nights, working the remaining dry woodland fragments for the endemic Palkachupa Cotinga and the rare near-endemic Green-capped Tanager.
