Celendín

A town in the Cajamarca region of northern Peru, Celendín sits above the Marañon Canyon and is the base after the long descent from the Abra Barro Negro high pass, with morning birding for the disjunct Rufous-fronted Thornbird and the near-endemic Fulvous-faced Scrub-Tyrant.
