Leymebamba

A higher-elevation town in the Andes of Amazonas region (Peru), Leymebamba sits at the southern end of the canyon route from Abra Patricia and the base for birding the road above town — Chachapoyas Antpitta, Russet-mantled Softtail and Yellow-scarfed Tanager — and a dusk session for Blackish Nightjar and Koepcke's Screech-Owl.
