Mixed-species flocks are common, and the changing elevation brings opportunities for species such as White-lored Warbler, Golden-breasted Fruiteater, Emerald Toucanet, Strong-billed Woodcreeper, and a variety of tanagers.

Tristan is well connected to the area and the local communities with a specialty in indigenous tribes and less-visited areas.
